Dr. Karma Maria Cinnante is a Bronx, NY, native who received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from New York University and her Medical Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. She completed her pediatric residency at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.

Upon completion of her residency program, Dr. Cinnante received an Excellence Award for Leadership in Quality Improvement. Dr. Cinnante also received the preeminent Kazi Uzair Award for being an outstanding third year resident as well as an additional award for being a team player.

Having had research experience at New Yo rk University Medical Center in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dr. Cinnante has published works in the Journal of Surgical Research and the Journal of Biological Chemistry. During residency, she was a delegate for the local New York resident chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Cinnante has interests in asthma, and childhood bullying awareness and lives in Bronxville, NY, with her husband.
