Presented by Penny Kelly, Earth Science teacher at Lincoln High School. Kids grades 1-5 are invited to learn about the Sun’s revolution and rotation with blowup models of the sun, earth and moon. Then we will venture outdoors to view the eclipse through a solar telescope. Eclipse glasses made especially for viewing the sun are available. Kids are welcome to encourage others in the community to view the eclipse and explain how the eclipse happens.
