The Fashion Arts Studio, Located in New Rochelle, is Westchester County’s first and only after school Fashion Design program that is also based on the STEAM educational philosophy (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Learning how to sketch fashion ideas and design illustrations on paper (right brain activity) to draping fabrics, and technical pattern-making (left brain thinking), requires holistic thinking processing. These functions help students develop critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. The program also cultivates team collaboration, individual creativity, and healthy self-expression as well as fostering the planning, organizational disciplines, and communication skills required for academic achievement.

Come along to a free illustration class for children. Parents or caregivers must be present.
