This holiday season, the Westchester Sandbox Theatre is home to a world premiere production of Nancy Holson’s Nutcracker! The Musical.

Using the classic score by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky and drawing from the original stories by E.T.A. Hoffmann and Alexander Dumas, five-time Emmy Award-winner Nancy Holson and Bruce Kiesling, conductor of Youth Orchestra Los Angeles and Musical Director of the Tulare County Symphony Orchestra, have created a new twist on the old classic with the familiar melodies interpreted through singing without ballet.

Nutcracker! The Musical features a large cast made up of local performers along with children from the Sandbox Theatre’s many youth theater programs.
